The basic Arabic dance workshop seeks to become aware of the parts of the body and connect with them through belly dance sensation work.

This dance is believed to have originated in the ancient millenary cultures of India, Egypt, and later spread to the countries that make up the Middle East. One of the fundamental principles is for women to discover and express their sensuality and femininity. Harmonious in character, it gives balance in the physical, mental and emotional. The movements give energy to the body and work on coordination. In addition to relaxing, it tones and flexes the different parts of the body, especially the hips, belly and back.

Don’t forget to bring your scarf. The class is conducted barefoot.
