Organized by the Student Leadership area of DAE-Development, the competition funds are a great opportunity for students to bring to life and/or enhance their high-impact projects.

The DAE Competitive Funds are cash contributions given by the university to student organizations that develop projects that have a high impact for the benefit of the internal UC and external community.

The funds seek to support the development and strengthening of different types of student initiatives, depending on the subject matter and level of development. The funds are also targeted to different students.

Student representatives:

If you are holding a student representation position (Student Center, Academic Counseling or Territorial Counseling, FEUC or Superior Counseling), you can apply for two funds:

  • Student RepresentationQuality of University Life.

Student organizations with consolidated projects:

If you lead a student group with existing projects and want to strengthen and expand your impact on society, you can apply for funding in different lines:

  • Annual Social Action.
  • Sustainability.
  • Culture.
  • Sports/Recreational Activities.
  • Transversal Training.
  • Development of Transversal Competencies.

Regular UC students:

If you are an undergraduate or graduate student and want to make an initiative a reality, take the plunge and apply for the following start-up funds:

  • Boost your Idea
  • University community.

The application period for all these funds expires on May 4, so you have one month to get informed and apply.

To do so, you just need to register as a user on the VForm platform, using your UC email address. There you will find the application guidelines for each fund, forms to complete and key dates for the process. It is important to consider that the application process includes training and workshops on project design and management, among other relevant topics, so that your initiatives can develop and generate a positive impact both in the beneficiary communities and among the volunteers of your group.

Remember, get involved, get informed and participate!
