Oral health education workshops are aimed at supporting prevention actions. In addition, they are an admission requirement for students consulting for the first time at the Dental Unit.

These workshops are interactive exhibitions, supported by audiovisual material and led by a dentist. Topics of interest are addressed in relation to the main diseases affecting the teeth and their supporting tissues. Here we provide the basic knowledge for the correct interpretation of its genesis, control and maintenance. The duration of these workshops is one hour. Since its implementation and start-up (April 2003) to date, more than 2,000 students have participated.
