CARA Tutorials are an extracurricular space for academic support and strengthening. They focus on the review of subjects considered highly complex and failing, offering support in small groups and led by students of higher years with outstanding performance in the subject on which they are tutoring.


These tutorials focus on reviewing challenging subjects and are led by students with pedagogical skills and CARA training. Tutorials are offered at various times during the second half of 2023.


Requirements

You must previously attend the Diagnostic Session to activate the Tutoring tab and be able to enroll in the one you want.

What is academic tutoring?

It is a space where you will be able to solve your doubts and exercise specific contents of some subjects considered of high repetition. This is done in groups of no more than 6 students, once a week with a duration of 1 module. Tutoring is provided by an outstanding student who has already completed the course.

What are the tutorials offered at CARA?

We offer tutoring on subjects in the area of Mathematics, such as algebra, calculus, geometry; Physics; Introduction to Economics; Chemistry, such as General I and II, Organic, Chemical-Physics, among others.

How to request an Academic Tutoring?

Come as soon as possible to our offices in San Joaquín or Casa Central to fill out your request for the tutoring you are interested in, you can also do it by sending an email to the Service Coordinator asbustos@uc.cl, indicating the following: Full name, RUT, Mail, Career of origin, acronym of the course you are requesting tutoring, screenshot of your class schedule.
