The Job Mentoring Program is an initiative of the Professional Development Center, which is carried out in conjunction with different Faculties (generally on a semester basis) that seeks to promote the exploration of job fields of interest to students. This is achieved by linking the student with volunteer professionals who already have work experience, in order to solve frequent doubts about the process of job placement and professional development.

What does it consist of?

The Program consists of the following activities:

Group kick-off meeting: Both mentors and students are trained to make the most of their role. At this stage, the working duos or trios are known.
4 meetings between duos/trios: In these meetings, different essential topics will be discussed to prepare the students’ labor insertion and career development. The conversations will be guided with work material provided by the Professional Development Center.
Closing group meeting: In the final meeting, experiences are shared and the process is evaluated.

Who can participate?

The program is mainly focused on students who are in their last academic semesters (4th and 5th year of the careers with which the program is organized) and who have 12 hours available during the semester in which the program is carried out.
