The "Fiesta de la Chilenidad" is a great celebration that takes place every year, before September 18, summoning the entire UC community to celebrate our classic traditions.

Students, teachers and employees are invited to enjoy various Creole games, taste typical food, listen to “dieciochera” music and participate in many contests.

There is also a cueca contest that, year after year, summons hundreds of members of the UC community to participate and show their skills in the national dance.

Also, there are cueca classes, esquinazos and folkloric exhibitions led by the selective group Almas UC.
