The Directorate of Student Affairs seeks to contribute to the university experience of the student community, facilitating the development of activities, programs and services in the fields of health, well-being, sports and student development, in order to contribute to the comprehensive training of students and the profile of UC graduates.
According to the Director of Student Affairs, Carola Méndez, “it is a set of experiences, interactions and learning that the student lives throughout their career. The university experience also has to do with the personal development of students, their talents, passions and concerns that they have, beyond the strictly academic.”
And through different development opportunities and extra and co-curricular activities, the DAE seeks to enhance this university experience, so that it is enriching and a real contribution to the comprehensive education of young people, always in line with the characteristics and competencies of the UC Graduate Profile.
This great mission is carried out through the work of the different units that make up the DAE:
Deputy Directorate of Management and Development, which oversees the development of transversal processes and services, such as the areas of Administration and Finance, DAE Communications and Studies.
Student Health and Well-being, which includes three areas: Dental Unit, Mental Health Unit and Physical Wellbeing Unit
UC Sports, which reaches students through its areas of Teaching (general training sports courses), Recreation and Sporting Events, Infrastructure and UC Teams.
Student Development, which offers opportunities to students at different stages, through Community, Academic Achievement Support Center and Vocational Exploration, Student Leadership, and Professional Development Center.
