We seek to enhance the sense of belonging and connection of each UC student, from the beginning of their university stage, encouraging their participation in extra and co-curricular activities and generating spaces for meeting and dialogue, aimed at the student body in general.
Under the guide “Get to know each other, feel part, participate and build community”, the Student Community Area works in 3 areas of action:
Newbie Route: Different initiatives are carried out especially aimed at welcoming first-year students, so that they get to know the UC and know how to get the most out of their university experience. After registration, this tour departs with the Student Manual and the Newbie Welcome. Another initiative is Ruta Novata in Canvas, an exclusive online space for 1st year students with all the information they need to know in their integration process into the UC world, which is accompanied by Ruta Novata in Patio. Extracurricular training and co-curricular recognition: We encourage and promote participation in activities, programs and services that enrich the university experience due to their contribution to comprehensive training. In this context, extra-programmatic workshops of an artistic and cultural nature are one of the services that students like the most.
Instances of dialogue and meeting: Spaces are organized that promote good coexistence and respect between students and other members of the university community.
