The Catholic University promotes coexistence in diversity and the welcome of all the people who make up our community, valuing and respecting the diverse ways of being and inhabiting the UC. One of the areas of diversity is linked to sexuality and gender, around which there are prejudices, discrimination and stigmas that have a direct impact on people's mental health. That is why the Diversity Accompaniment Program aims to promote the development of an inclusive university community that favors lifestyles of coexistence that protect the well-being and mental health of UC students.

Program Objectives

  • To promote coexistence in diversity and fraternal welcome for all the people who make up the UC Community
  • Implement promotion and prevention actions from an affirmative framework to facilitate the development of university life in the UC community
  • To promote spaces for dialogue and reflection for students on gender diversity issues.
  • Develop psychoeducational interventions that make visible protective and risk factors in student coexistence, considering gender diversity.
